Research
I am interested in using multiple remote sensing data sets from in-situ and satellite to study air-sea-ice interaction. My current research focuses on cylone-induced upwelling and mixed layer heat budget of the Southern Ocean. My project includes data analysis, such as ARGO floats, AMSR-E/NASA, ECMWF, NCEP/NCAR reanalysis data, OSCAR/NOAA and scatterometer data (QSCAT/NASA), as well as Kantha-Clayson mixed layer model.
